Seems to be a common location for suicides. Every time I hear an announcement on BART about "delays due to a medical emergency", it's at Embarcadero.

Yeah, pretty much none of what you said is true. Also, +10 for being a total bigot. Attacking them for not having "san francisco values" makes you sound like a total xenophobe. I hope you understand the irony of attacking them for the unamerican activities committee while you try and purge their values from san francisco.

@Jaded Bay Area - not sure what you're trying to say. Are you saying the general area around SF is rather liberal? Because it's not. San Francisco takes the liberals cause to extreme. The only town that might rival San Francisco is Berkeley. Oakland is nowhere near the liberal town SF is, and if you move down south to Palo Alto, or north to Marin, none of the cities come close to San Francisco's craziness.

Islais Creek runs along the floor of the canyon, going underground near the Rec Center, and re-emerging just west of 3rd St, to empty into the Bay. Islais is the name given to the native cherry tree that can be found along the banks of the creek. I was told Islais is a native american word from the indigenous tribe of the northern Peninsula.

Demolition, such a sad way for a stadium to go. This is still a great facility, I'm sure it can be used for something else.
